In the meantime, I'm trying to think of some weird-yet-cute footwear I can wear to the wedding, since I can't find any appropriate shoes that fit. It's occurred to me that I could don my Irish dance slippers (sort of a Doctor Who tribute, as David Tennant usually wears a kilt and Scottish dance shoes to awards ceremonies). It's a bit obscure, though. K, I’m sure Porpoise is grateful for your support. Heh. Then I WILL tell you that Douglas Adams used to write some fo the old Who episodes. I'd highly recommend The Pirate Planet, which Adams wrote, with Doctor Four (Puddleglum again) and the first Romana (who I thought was the most beautiful woman in the world when I was wee).
