Ursa vs. Felis (And a Happy Ending for All!)

“Small Bear”–who actually is very fond of cats–told us about this . A large orange tabby cat–sans claws–managed to chase a bear up a tree. Twice. Everyone is fine, and nobody got scratched or mauled.
Definitely the best news I’ve heard in a long time.

In what is perhaps stranger cat news, there is a new reality show in the works. You know the drill, ten strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped. The wild nights, the catnip, the litterbox fiascos…
For kitties who desire a little less exposure, there is Catster.com, the feline equivalent of Friendster. Watch out, Otter, your blog may soon have some tough competition!
